Life CoachingAt New York Psychotherapy and Neuropsychology Group, life coaching can help you attain your desired level of optimal wellness. Life coaching serves the role of addressing specific projects, situations or transitions in an individual’s life or profession, and it assists in clarifying and discovering a source of action to achieve specific goals. We use research evidence to guide effective practice and utilize your strengths and resources to generate solutions and growth. Life coaching is especially important around life transitions and can improve your life across multiple areas (e.g., career, financial, health, relationships). Depending on your interests life coaching may also include spiritual development and meaning in life.

The initial session will typically last 90 minutes and subsequent sessions a duration of 30-60 minutes. Sessions can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly and take place over a 2-6 month period of time. The initial consultation, will entail a discussion of your current circumstances, including identification and clarification of values and goals. This beginning will serve as a road map for future work that will encompass domains such as family life, career, community involvement, and relationships.
